Stacey Marmolejo
While some people talk about the importance of humanity in the workplace, Stacey Marmolejo has spent a career proving it. Her path reads like a masterclass in building things that matter.
She was a member of the rebranding team at Continental Airlines; the work was so enduring that it survived the carrier's acquisition by United Airlines and remains in use today.
While serving as the publisher of Training magazine, she created the Training Top 100 program, which recognized excellence in workforce development for years and inspired what continues today as the Apex Awards.
At Affinity Group she oversaw the consumer events division, producing large-scale live shows across the United States. Most recently (2024) she served as volunteer event manager for the Canaveral Mineral and Gem Society's 51st Anniversary Show in Melbourne, delivering the most profitable event in the organization's history.
She built not one but three School of Rock franchises over seventeen years, leading teams, developing people, and successfully exiting on her own terms.
She is also a six-time published author. During COVID, when the world went quiet and tourism collapsed, Stacey built an online directory (since sold) and wrote the Insider's Guide to the Space Coast as an invitation to tourists to visit the area and buy from local businesses. FOX35 shared her story.
In 2020 she came to Florida's Space Coast to care for her father. She built a life here. She lost him in June 2025.
